Humblest of beginnings...

Well, here goes...by no means an early adopter in this arena, I'm finally joining the masses in the digital age by installing a picture window into the leisurely madness of my life. All manner of technical and non-technical friends have been telling me about their blogs for ages, and I've finally become aware of their value if for no one other than oneself, a semipublic interactive journal that won't get lost in a box in a move or buried away never to be seen again.

In the days/weeks/months ahead (it remains to be seen how much dedication is in the pantry for this manner of project) completely random and contextually questionable insights into my life will flow forth, along with the detritus from my everyday experiences.

Should you, the reader, discover any nuggets of universal truth, revelation, catharsis, or any such treasures be sure to let me know either via comments and/or e-mail, as I'd like to be able to identify them if asked.
