Sometimes it doesn't take much...

W00t! Internet's back! I've got Dance Hall Crashers playing, and aside from the fact that I've got to be to work in under four hours, all is right with the world...

Got an invitation to what should be a reasonably happening NYE party tomorrow from a friend/occasional play partner earlier tonight, who may or may not have promised some potential threeway time with her switch/top girlfriend if I play my cards right...I then mentioned these developments to a blonde hottie friend (known her for several months, she and I get along famously, I'm really looking forward to spending some time with and getting to know her) from Raleigh, who indicated that she had no plans for the weekend, as her boyfriend is working or otherwise busy at the last minute. Naturally, being the considerate, accomodating sort that I am, I've invited her down for the weekend, going so far as to offer to fly to RDU after work tomorrow and drive back with her. Here's to hoping that everyone concerned can look forward to, at worst, a very interesting conclusion to 2004. :D

Talked to Jessica, found out that Mara's (cute (and flirty, but married) Puerto Rican girl we met in Indy this month) mother in-law (mother-in-law?) just died from cancer, necessitating an unscheduled trip to Chicago. Sad. I think she was at the same hospital where my mother was (ultimately unsuccesfully) treated, Northwestern, can't help but wonder aboput the particulars, wonder if she was also seeing Dr. Bethke(?), he was pretty highly acclaimed, as I recall...

Debating who else to tell about this little endeavour, vs. letting it "spread" (as if/as it were) by word-of-mouth, that'd be interesting to see, if it makes the rounds at all through any of my circle of friends/acquaintances.

Got my SuperG 802.11g bridgeable access point in the mail today, can't get it hooked up to link my wired net to this misappropriated connection, so all the computers can access the internet and the printer can be linked and shared to everyone remotely, grr. If you're reading this and know a thing or two about bridging wireless networks and junk (Ben, I'm looking in your direction...) call me, I need help...

Off to bed, long couple of days ahead (hopefully!)
