March forth...or not, whatever...

Hrm. I had such grand plans for today's post...unfortunately, it's now nearly 6am, and I'm considerably less motivated at the moment

All this searching for a notebook for Laura has really got me wanting to go get a used Titanium G4 PowerBook. Between Skip's tales of how indestructible they are and a love of Ti as a construction material, I've got to have one! I once had a Seiko Kinetic Ti wristwatch (before it got jacked, story for another day) that I loved (possibly the coolest watch ever, these Kinetic models...automatic self-winding convenience, but with quartz accuracy...impressive tech...more on these another time also), but found that for all it's strengths, one shortcoming is that it tends to screatch rather easily. Hope that's not the case with the PowerBooks. I finally found her one today though, and it's pretty much exactly what I'd get for myself. Now to find one of my own!

Earlier today, I related a tale of an electrical mishap experienced in my youth...soon thereafter, I thought of a couple more, and had planned on relating those stories here...but now that now is here, it looks like now's not the time either.

Hopefully, more interesting post tomorrow, I've already got a subject picked out...
